ABOUT US

Based in the Lancaster/York area of Pennsylvania, the Thorns Women's Rugby Football Club is a Division 3 senior club that competes in the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union (EPRU).

The Thorns embrace diversity on and off the pitch, striving to create a positive environment so every player, no matter the skill level, can thrive. It's never too late to join, whether you have never touched a rugby ball, are just coming off of a college career, or if you have been away from the game for a while, we would love to have you with us.

SCHEDULE

The Thorns focus our year around playing 15's rugby. We kick off the Fall season in late August and play through mid November. We break for the winter months and begin practicing again in late February for the spring season. After April we break or a few weeks before kicking off our Summer 7s tournaments.

Early Spring and Late Fall we may be indoors due to lighting or weather and we do sometimes take a week or two off, so email thorns@lancasterrugby.org to confirm if you are coming out for the first time.

We welcome all ages (18 and up) and skill levels...NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!

Practice: Monday and Thursday Evenings 6pm-Sundown

Matches: Saturday Mornings
